Me

Hi! I am Aliah Chamorro, an innovative, open-minded, and optimistic fashion designer seeking assistant/associate design opportunities.  From age 8, I have been interested in working in fashion, specifically the bridal and evening wear industry. Through various jobs, internships, and time at Marist College, I have gained experience and knowledge in draping, textile design, fashion illustration, styling, pattern making, and product design. I am also skilled in digital design programs, such as Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and 3D Design.

I was raised to be a passionate hard worker who strives for equality and justice for those who don’t have it. I am strongly interested in social justice and always strive to integrate it into my projects through size inclusivity, discussions on gender inequality, and sustainability. I want to work for a brand that has these tough conversations and be able to create elegant, innovative designs that inspire the future.
