Our Power Junior Collection

Introducing my junior collection, “Our Power,” this collection discusses the past & current day injustices that women face around the world such as the recent overturn of roe vs. wade (U.S) and the reinstitution of the hijab mandate in Iran. Our Power also incorporates the negative connotations on body “imperfections” such as stretch marks and scars. I wanted my collection to empower women to feel like a real life fairy/flower similarly to my digitally created print that incorporates stretch marks and Colombian flowers which is featured in the jacket. Taking inspiration from Gaudi’s Spanish architecture, my garments push my women to take up space. They are the power and voice we need to take it back from the patriarchy.
